Free admission! Original jazz compositions and standards by Indianapolis trumpeter Kent Hickey.

The Kent Hickey Trio is a forward-thinking ensemble based in Indianapolis. The group performs Kent’s original compositions and lesser-known jazz standards drawing inspiration from bands led by musicians like Avishai Cohen, Mike Rodriguez, John Swana, and Tim Hagans.  The trio has performed at several local venues in the past year including McGowan Hall, Chilly Water Brewing Co., Blockhouse Bar, the Chatterbox, and Eagle Creek Park.  Kent will be joined by Isaac Beaumont (bass) and Miles Damaso (drums) for this performance.
